9ct gold half hunter pocket watch by J W Benson, London, hallmarked Birmingham 1930, the outer case with black enamelled Roman numerals, opening to a white enamelled dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, signed, the back cover engraved with a monogram, inner gold dust cover, crownwind 17 jewelled Swiss movement, signed Benson, 49mm diameter, gross weight approx. 92.5g

Fine surface scratches to the outer case consistent with age and normal use. There is no glass to the dial cover. Some small dents to the outer edge of the case. The back of the case is monogrammed. The enamelled numerals on the outer case are good. The dial has a hair crack between 10 and 11 o'clock and a fine scratch between 4 and 5 o'clock. The movement ticks momentarily when wound. Inner dust cover is gold and uninscribed.
