André Masson (French, 1896 –1987) – Dancing Woman (To Tina, friendly respects) - A pastel / chalk on paper Surrealist drawing painting personally dedicated to current owner's grandmother from artist himself. Signed lower right in pencil. Mounted, framed and glazed.

The drawing is visible in a photograph from the artist's studio in 1933 featured in the book "Andre Masson and his Universe" (Horizon books 1947).

(Measures approx. 45cm x 56cm excluding frame.)

From the Cooke Estate Private Collection. The painting having passed down through three generations.
