Old Paper Shop Window Display Material encouraging people to eat more fruit and vegetables. This is a set of shop window display material for a greengrocers shop, there are 10 pieces in total. Two large banners "Eat More Fruit and Keep Fit," 35 x 15" and "Eat more Vegetables and Salads- The Fruits of the Earth," 35 x 16 3/4". There are 2 panoramic pastoral scenes- one a pair of horses plowing, man behind guiding them, the other fruit trees in the foreground, with a vista of bounty behind, 22 1/4 x 4 1/2". There are two pairs of corner decorations. One pair is strictly vegetables - lettuce, cucumber, beets, leak, tomatoes, radishes & the other cauliflower, cabbage, peas, beans, brussels sprouts, tomatoes. The 2nd pair is of a boy and girl holding baskets, one filed with grapes, peaches, banana, cherries, plum, apple with an orange tree behind him and the girl with tomatoes, beans, cabbage, cucumber & turnips, measuring 13 1/2 x 16 3/4". The 3rd set are long panoramic views of fields and an ocean liner on the seat with corner decorations of fruit and vegetables, measuring 34 x 8". Showing signs of having been used, a couple of closed tears and some tape residue otherwise still nice bright image. C1950s
