1840 Queen Victoria silver four-coin Maundy Money set in an undated historic box. Includes (1) 1840 Maundy Fourpence, (2) 1840 Maundy Threepence, (3) 1840 Maundy Twopence, and (4) 1840 Maundy Penny. Obverses: Young Head portrait of Queen Victoria by William Wyon, 'VICTORIA D: G: BRITANNIAR: REGINA F: D:' around. Reverses: crowned numerals within wreath, originally by Jean Baptiste Merlen. Coins come in a fitted old box with 'MAUNDY MONEY' to the lid. Composition: 925 silver.
