Imperial German Seitengewehr M1898/05 Butcher Bayonet


14 1/2 inch, single edge blade widening towards the point.  Wide fuller.  Forte with maker "Waffenfabrik Mauser AG Oberndorf aN".  Back edge dated 16.  Steel, turn up quillon.  Steel pommel. Wooden ribbed slab grips.  Contained in its steel scabbard.
