A 1900 bronze Paris Exposition Universelle Internationale medal, designed by J. C. Chaplain, depicting the head of 'France' in a Phrygian bonnet beside an oak tree which crowns the bust with a laurel wreath with a view of the Paris skyline in the background, the reverse depicts the winged figure of Victory, holding a laurel wreath and a palm branch, carrying a victor on her back, awarded to W. C. W. Bruce, marked 'Bronze' to rim, 6.3cm diameter


Note: The 1900 Paris International Exhibition took place in conjunction with the Olympic Games
