A LARGE LATE 19TH CENTURY GERMAN DOUBLE FUSEE QUARTER CHIMING BRACKET CLOCK the ormolu mounted oak case with caryatid canted corners and urn finials raised on lion paw feet, the 7" arched brass dial with gilt winged cherub head spandrels and silvered chapter ring surrounding a matted centre, the arch with subsidiary dials for regulation and Strike/Silent fronting an eight day chain driven double fusee movement chiming the quarters on two gongs, backplate signed 'W & H' (71cm high )
