A LATE 18TH CENTURY TOWER FLINTLOCK PISTOL.
With a 22.5cm tapering circular barrel with two proof marks, the side plate marked with a Crown and GR, with brass 'S' mount to the other side, with a flint lock action with roller spring, the trigger guard engraved 'XI L-D B 47' possibly for the eleventh Light Dragoons, with substantial brass butt, 38cm long.
