Remington Double Derringer Type III circa 1920s, .41 rimfire, with 3 in. barrels in an over/under configuration which tip up to facilitate loading and extraction, locked by a pivoting key on the right side of the frame, top of upper barrel marked ‘REMINGTON ARMS U.M.C. CO. ILION.N.Y.’, chequered hard rubber grips, much original bluing, 5 in. overall.
