Early 19th century Anglo-Indian sandlewood sewing box made in Vizapagatam, India, Sandlewood casket on turned and gadrooned bun feet with ivory floral engraved black borders, carousel roof and carved foliate finial in ivory, Interior with original fittings, lift out tray with five lidded and hand decorated compartments, thimble holders, pin cushions etc. The lid with a hinge lidded storage compartment.
