A George III 15ct gold ring set with two purple almandine garnets and split pearls, hallmarked Birmingham 1821, gross wt. 2.26g, size Q.
Central garnet approx. 6mm x 4.5mm, one split pearl missing, damage/loss to scroll setting (see images), setting comprising two almandine garnets the other stone is a darker red colour and unidentified probably another garnet variety, band appears to have been re-sized, general wear including scratches, hallmarks well defined.
