A smokebox numberplate, 30452, from a Southern Railway N15 King Arthur Class 4-6-0 No 452 built at Eastleigh in July 1925 and named SIR MELIAGRANCE after a knight of the round table in Arthurian Legend, becoming BR 30452. A long time Salisbury engine, it was withdrawn from there in August 1959 and cut up at Eastleigh Works. The front repainted, the Eastleigh triangle cast into the back. (Postage Band: D)
