Obverse: haloed Archangel Michael slaying a dragon with a spear, heraldic cinquefoil to top, legend reads 'EDWARD x DEI x GRA x REXx ANGL x Zx FRANC x' with saltire stops. Reverse: ship with quartered shield to hull and cross above, 'E' to right and rose to left of mast.
