AMENDED DESCRIPTION Rare 1960s T Bedford's Varsity Rugby Match Jerseys (2): Magnificent chance to obtain the Oxford No. 7 and Cambridge No. 2 jerseys from the collection of Springbok legend Tommy Bedford, who earned Oxford Blues 1965-6-7, skippering the Dark Blues in 1966, and South Africa for 3 of his 25 caps. Both are clearly match worn, with old mud stains and dried blood to the collar area of the Light Blues', and some wear to the Oxford example. In all likelihood the Cambridge jersey is that of the recently passed Brian Rees, Tommy’s 1966 opposing captain and hooker, a future Welsh cap and then an eminent surgeon. A lovely evocative pair from the heart of that 150-year rivalry, and from one of the game's great players of any generation. Not to be missed, what a display opportunity!
