£800 - £1,000
A mid 18c lantern clock by Bilby of Chew-Stoke, the thirty hour weight driven movement having chain drive, long pendulum and two hands. The movement has countwheel striking on a bell above the typical brass posted frame case with dolphin frets and engraved centre to the dial. The clock stands 41cm h overall.
The clock seems fairly original and was built as a two hander but the wall hanging loop and spurs have been removed and it would need a wall bracket. the movement seems otherwise complete and operational.
