A 19th century French percussion rifle with sprung lever breach barrel, suspension loops and bayonet, the rifle 140cms long, the bayonet 42cms long.
Looking down the barrel with a torch the barrel looks to be in good condition without any corrosion, the barrel rifling is present but worn.
