CLAUDE HAYES (1857-1922) 'CLOSE TO THE SEA, MUDEFORD', a coastal harvesting scene, signed and dated (18)92 bottom right, signed and titled to label verso, watercolour on paper, approximate size 54cm x 74cm, together with 'An Uncertain Flock, an Aprils Day', a shepherd herding his flock across a narrow wooden bridge, a watercolour by the same hand, signed and dated (18) 92 bottom right, signed and titled verso with George Hughes label verso, approximate size 53cm x 72cm, Condition Report: both pictures have discolouration and foxing, first picture has losses to the frame and is loose in the frame, both frames have rubs to the painted finish
