A very large original acrylic on canvas painting titled "Bog Queen no. 3" dating to 2016. Featuring an abstract composition of a stark red rectangular form set against a dark muddy brown bog, with grey cloudy sky above. Rendered using a variety of techniques such as large thick brushstrokes, watered paint runs, and stippled and spattered paint. This creates a diverse and layered composition, upon which the intense red rectangle stands proud in its opacity. An intense and emotive piece. Signed indistinctly bottom left and to verso.
