After George Edwards (English, 1694-1773): six 18th century ornithological engravings, all hand coloured, comprising a study of a pelican, pub. 1746, a waxwing, pub. 1753, and an ash coloured heron, together with three engravings published in 1796, a Lark of North America, a Chinese Teal, Whistling Swan, all 24.5 by 19.3cm, and with glazed wooden chinoiserie style frames, 32.5 by 27cm.
