Early C18th Longcase Clock circa 1720 with square brass dial signed by John Wilkins, Oakham, date aperture, secondary seconds dial, cherub spandrels, engraved centre, door with shaped top, canopy with fluted columns & gilt Corinthian capitols, under dentil cornice, movement striking on bell, 2 iron weights & brass pendulum, approx. 6' H
date ring not properly attached
Case is a little dull but no real damage. All appears to be original. 2 weights and pendulum but one weight holder is missing. Hour hand detached but present. Click spring on time needs repair as spring too short. There is a key but not original.
Dial is approx. 28.5cm
