Anglo Indian Box. Carved ebony Anglo-Indian box, profusely carved with floral decoration. The sandalwood interior is fitted with a mirror and lift out tray and fifteen compartments. Inlaid in bone 'Miss Taradevi.' Provenance; This box has come from descent through the vendors family after her grandmother received it as a wedding gift when she was 12. They lived in Meerut, (her father was in British army quarters). 23.5cm wide, 28cm deep, 13cm high.
