A Coalport porcelain twin handled vase and cover, late 19th or early 20th century, the tapering body painted with landscape reserves against a gilt highlighted cobalt blue ground, raised on four gilt paw feet, the handles with gilt dog mask finials, green printed maker's mark and painted V.6161/L13200 fraction mark to underside, 33cm high (at fault)
The piece shows four hairline cracks descending from the rim, the longest approximately 5cm. The interior shows crazing extending downwards from the rim (difficult to determine how far down this extends), and the odd small stain. The finial of the cover shows losses and repairs.
