An original WWI First World War British 18 Pounder MK IV Artillery ( inert ) shrapnel shell. The projectile with a copper driving band to the lower portion and fuse to the top. Marked to the side QF 18 PR VIII. The brass shell case dated 1918 with various other inspection marks. A repainted example. Measures approx. 56cm.
