An original postcard addressed to resistance worker Mrs Brusselmans at 127 Chausse Discelles, in Belgium which was the Rendez-Vous for escaping Allied Airmen via the 'Comet Line'.

The Comet Line was the largest of several escape networks in occupied Europe. Over the course of three years, it helped 776 people, primarily British and American airmen, evade capture in Belgium and France and safely escape to Spain.

This is the only remaining correspondence left from WW2 to this address. Mrs Anne Brusselmans was an important member of the 'Comet Line' and wrote a memoir called 'Rendez-Vous 127, The Diary of Madame Brusselmans, MBE' published on 1st January 1954.
