Late 18th/early 19th century mahogany long case clock marked 'Robert Hampton, Warrington', having arched brass face with silvered chapter ring, silvered seconds dial and date aperture under a rolling moon with pierced brass spandrels, the case with broken swan neck pediment with reeded pilasters flanking the arched aperture, the waist with strapwork frieze, shaped door and reeded quarter pilasters on a panelled base. The face overall 45x32cm approx. with two weights and pendulum. (B.P. 21% + VAT)
