Three 19th century bags incorporating cut steel beads, the first in ruby velvet with a square frame, long chain handle, a central beaded motif and border, lined in blue striped silk taffeta; the second example in deep turquoise velvet, is embroidered in steel beads in a sunburst pattern, fringed, lined in cream, fitted with a sturdy, studded frame; and the third bag, in brown velvet, is embroidered with steel beads, with the addition of tassels and fringes, draw thread closure, lined in brown (3)
