A Labradorite and Gem-Set 'Scarab' Ring,
set with a oval carved labradorite modelled as a scarab beetle, within a border of vari-hue oval cabochon tourmalines, mounted in 18ct yellow gold, French assay marks and maker's mark CC separated by an acorn, size N, 22.2g
The labradorite has a good play of colour and only light surface wear. The tourmalines have typical internal inclusions and a few tiny surface chips only visible through a loupe. The mount has light surface abrasions but is still heavy gauge. Overall in very good condition.
