Vuilliume de Paris, 47, Rue de Treviso Paris, Annee 1890, no. 671; also indistinctly inscribed... 193 to the inner back above the label, the one piece back of medium/broad curl with medium/fine curl to the sides and head, the table of a fine width grain and the varnish of a reddish brown colour on a golden ground, 14 1/16", 35.70cm

** The violin is sold with a certificate of authenticity from Jean-Jacques Rampal dated 24th November 2021.

The general condition of this violin is reasonable, but there is a crack on the head below the scroll, also with cosmetic varnish imperfection consistent with age and playing, the mark above the bass side F hole on the table is a scratch, not a crack.
