Antique oak mule chest, the hinged top revealing an open chest interior, with triple panelled front over two short drawers, 52" wide, 20" deep, 27" high
The top with ring marks, gauges and stains various, separations and losses to the panelled structure to the top, historic replaced hinges (evidence of the original fittings) iron lock though missing lock components, historic losses and damage to the front panel, both drawers have dropped revealing gaps to the upper, one drawer in fact has evidence of a previous lock fitting now missing, there are historic splits and separations to some joints and panels, splits down both side panels, historic wear more heavily to the feet sections, the top considerably more sun bleached than the rest, please see additional images as a guide
