London Underground Poster Ritchie Aldershot Tattoo. Original vintage London Transport poster advertising Aldershot Tattoo that took place June 7 to 10 and June 13 to 17 1939. Design by T Ritchie features a bright ray of light with stylised lettering over it shining above the silhouettes of Royal Guards holding guns and marching in line for the ceremony and mounted guards in the forefront. London transport logo in the bottom left corner. Printed by Chiswick Press Ltd. The Aldershot Military Tattoo was an annual performance dating back to 1894, organised to raise money for military charities. Excellent condition.
