Dennis Orme Shaw was born in Cookstown, Co. Tyrone in 1944 and studied at the Belfast College of Art (1962-1967). Recognised for his use of vibrant colours, the artist has tackled numerous subject matters including landscape scenes, still life and figures. Exhibiting widely across Ireland, Orme Shaw has been presented with the Silver Award Medal from the Royal Ulster Academy.
