A German Edwardian balloon shaped mantel clock, the eight-day duration movement striking the hours and half-hours on a gong and embossed with the crossed arrows trademark for the Hamburg-American Clock Co., the round cream dial with black Roman numerals, retailers name J. Gillmore, Glastonbury and blued steel spade hands, the mahogany case having boxwood stringing, shell inlay to the front and standing on bun feet, height 29cm.
