A VICTORIAN 1845 PATTERN SWORD. With an 82cm slightly curved fullered and pointed blade with flat back, with conjoined VR initials beneath a crown, amongst scrolling decoration, indistinctly marked for a maker at 26 Leadenhall street London. The brass guard with VR cypher beneath a crown, without folding guard, with wire bound fish skin grip and stepped oval pommel. Lacking scabbard. 96cm overall. *CR slight denting and marking to guard, couple of nicks in the blade.
