A 19th century painted and gilded terracotta figure of St Michael the Archangel slaying the Dragon, the polychrome painted figure standing upon a faux-marble octagonal plinth, 17in. (43.2cm.) high, restorations and losses. * * Both arms have been restored and one has recently been off and has a glued repair. Head and top of both wings have been off and have old restoration with repainting. Four feathers detached from helmet. Chip to tip of dragons tail, two chips to one of dragons wings and one of dragons ears missing. Some paint wear and flaking throughout.
