Transport - Railwayana Cornwall Interest - Cornwall Minerals Railway An unusual and rare leather cash bag with a riveted brass plaque "Melangoose Mill CMR" with attached British Transport Commission Historics Relics Section, Euston label. Lot also includes a copy of the photograph recording the cutting of the first sod on the construction of the Helston Railway on 22/3/1882. N.B. Cornwall Minerals Railway operated between 1862 and 1896 when acquired by the G.W.R. The route ran from Lostwithiel to Newquay to include associated branches. Mellangoose Mill was on a branch from St. Dennis.
