A PHILLIPE STARCK ‘PRESIDENT M’ TABLE FOR BALERI ITALIA, circa 1980s. The base made from aluminium, the top glass. Base impressed ‘Baleri Italia’. Starck’s original design was created for the offices of President Mitterrand, the visually striking design creates the illusion that the glass top is almost floating above the wing shaped uprights beneath. Condition – very good. Can be used both indoors & outdoors. Note photograph shows the base upside-down. Dimensions: 150cm glass diameter top and the height is 72 cm approximately.
