From a distance this bright work appears to be faultless, however, upon close inspection, a few condition issues are apparent. The artist has painted this work directly onto board, for the main body of the painting he has used a thick impasto technique with a thinner application of paint used for the sky. There is significant craquelure and a little flaking to the sky, please see images. There are a few cracks throughout the impasto and some areas of loss, most notably to the yellow pigment, see images.
