Circa 1960 Fender Stratocaster electric guitar, made in USA; Body: two-tone sunburst refinish, heavy wear and scratching to back and within contour, further lacquer checking and dings, back plate and scratchplate holes enlarged due to larger screws installed; Neck: reprofiled and reradiused, refinished, replacement decal, vacant hole to front of head from previously installed string tree, tuner shaft holes enlarged from previously installed (possibly Schaller) tuners and with larger washer ring imprints to face of head; Fretboard: rosewood, reradiused; Frets: refret with larger frets, fret slots cut deeper through the maple towards the upper frets; Electrics: working, neck pickup appears to have been rewound, potentiometers dating to 1959; Hardware: tuners original, replacement repro control knobs, incorrect larger pickguard screws, pickguard countersink holes enlarged to allow for larger screws, remnants of 'Alan' branded to treble side of pickguard, trem arm later, new nut, missing cavity back plate and screws, serial plate dating to circa 1960; Case: original Selmer hard case; Weight: 3.61kg; Overall condition: fair
