A worksplate, THOMAS HILL, KILNHURST, UNIT NO 303V, MODEL 3M AUG 1982. From a standard gauge 4-wheel diesel-hydraulic locomotive ex works in July 1982 to the Ministry of Defence at Ludgershall Depot, Wiltshire, numbered 263. To BREL at Crewe in July 1990 for re-engining. Subsequently worked at a number of other Ministry of Defence depots until sold to the Harry Needle Railroad Company for use as a hire locomotive. Currently located with W.H. Davis Wagon Repairers at their Ferrybridge depot, West Yorkshire. Cast brass, 8"x3½", cleaned but unpainted. (Postage Band: A)
