A smokebox numberplate, 7019, from a (GWR) 4073 Castle Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in May 1949 and named FOWEY CASTLE after one of a pair of forts built by Henry VIII to protect Fowey Harbour. It spent most of its BR days at Bristol Bath Road with late spells at Old Oak Common, Stafford Road and Oxley from where it was withdrawn in February 1965 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Great Bridge. Ex loco condition. (Postage Band: D)
