WWII style German Luftwaffe oil cloth canvas pilots' maps. Newcastle/Tyneside/Middlesbrough & Manchester/Liverpool. Maps to both sides. The distinctive colours made it easier to read under cockpit lights. Both maps have highlighted built up areas with the Manchester/Liverpool maps having circled areas with German script. " Attention German Prison Camp" to Manchester side and "Attention Internment Camp" to Liverpool side. Approx. 66.5 x 64.5cm.
