A neatly sized original Marcel Lindsay (Irish contemporary b.1968) acrylic on board painting titled "Poolbeg, Clontarf," in Lindsay's typical intense atmospheric style with dramatic sweeping sky. Features delicate highlights across the dark city scape, dominated by his beloved Poolbeg chimneys. Initialed M.L. bottom right and dated to 2023. Housed in a smart black frame. Signed and titled to verso.

Lindsay (b.1968), is a Dublin born artist who took up painting in 2018 following a holiday to West Cork. Working primarily in acrylic and pen, his paintings powerfully capture the mood and colour of the sea, allowing the Dublin coastline to feed the narrative of his work.
