A collection of mixed militaria relating to Lieutenant Commander Harold Swailes R.N., comprising, a pair of Voigtlander, Braunschweig 6 x 30 binoculars, housed in fitted leather carry case, interior inscribed ‘H. Swailes Commander RN H.M.S. Curacoa, 1925-27’, three monochrome photographs of the Commander, including one taken outside on Pitt Street by Wright & Logan, Naval and Press Photographers, and another example in line up before the Queen’s father, a cased draftsman’s drawing equipment set and a quantity of naval coat buttons, all kept in a wooden box with applied leather corners
