A box strung burr walnut sewing box, 19th century. Of sarcophagus form with gilt metal acorn handles, a hinged over and compartmented lower draw. 27.2 cm length, 19.3 cm height. Condition report: Some age related wear as illustrated. Lower draw without key and handle missing.
