An unknown Dutch vessel, foundered off the coast of Wales Gun carriage from a small deck cannon Likely 18th or early 19th century, of wooden construction with iron mounts and bolts. Lacks its wooden wheels, would have borne a cannon of about four feet in length. Maximum dimensions L73 x W20 x H36 cm Provenance: From the Estate of John Bevan, founding chairman of the Historical Diving Society, leading sports diver, underwater scientist and author.
