AN UNUSUAL BRUNSWICK TYPE WALL GUN, POSSIBLY AN EXPERIMENTAL PIECE. With a 99cm smooth bore muzzle loading barrel, approximately 19mm at muzzle. The barrel with fore and end sights, ramrod below, the percussion firing action unmarked with brass 'S' mount to the other side. With brass trigger guard, the fore-stock in two parts, the butt stamped '74' and with brass butt plate. With twin strap mounts. 142cm overall. With an old Phillips label 'Rare Percussion Brunswick type Wall gun (See page 200 Blackmore British Military Firearms) No Marks? Experimental Butt stamped 74 Two piece Takedown Stock c.1830.' *Condition: Action works but fires on half cock.scuffs and marks to surfaces.
