A Chinese wucai ‘rocks and blossom’ vase, Transitional, Shunzhi period, painted with blossoming branches and bamboo amid rockwork, unglazed base, 29cm high, cracked and restoration to neck

There are substantial cracks to the body with open drilled holes which once contained staples. There is a large area of messy restoration to the neck and some occasional flaking to the green enamel on the leaves. Typical manufacturing imperfections.
