More About the Artist :
Born in Kassel, Germany in 1925 he studied in Frankfurt, Munich and Stuttgart where he was a student of Willi Baumeister. In 1951 he took up residence in Canada, and would later divide his time between studios in Switzerland and Canada, later moving to live and work in Spain.
De Lucca’s work can be found in major museums and collections including the National Gallery in Ottawa, the Tate Gallery in London, and the Musee National d’art moderne in Paris.
