Egypt. 1882 Cover to England headed "From M. Sullivan, Skilled Shipwt, H.M.S "Euryalus", Suez" and countersigned with a handstamped signature, a G.B 1d lilac paying the 1d sailor rate, cancelled upon arrival in the London Foreign Branch, Birmingham backstamp (Mar 20). Creases and part flap removed but an uncommon sailors letter from Egypt, sent shortly before the British occupation of the country.
