This Roman iron ring, dating from the 2nd century A.D., features a finely carved carnelian intaglio portraying the profile of a young man. The intaglio is beautifully preserved, showcasing the intricate detailing of the figure’s features, including the hairstyle, which was characteristic of the Roman period.
